Staying Safe at the Jolly Junction

"Children look to adults for guidance and reassurance, and when they see us prioritising safety, they learn valuable lessons in responsibility and respect for rules. Whether it's supervising play areas, enforcing equipment guidelines, or promoting proper hygiene practices, our commitment to safety sets a positive example for young ones to emulate, ensuring that every visit to The Jolly Junction is not just enjoyable but also safe and secure."
 - The JJ Team Safety Statement

Ensuring safety rules and guidance are followed at The Jolly Junction Soft Play Centre is paramount for the well-being of all visitors, especially children. As adults, it is our responsibility to create an environment where fun and excitement can thrive without compromising safety.

By adhering to safety regulations, we not only mitigate the risk of accidents but also foster an atmosphere of trust and reliability.

Please ensure you read the fun safety sign in the reception area with your child to help ensure they understand the details.

  • AT ALL TIMES, Parents/Guardians/Carers are exclusively responsible for their children whilst on the premises. Under no circumstances are those responsible for their children permitted to leave the premises without taking the children in their care with them.

  • The Jolly Junction reserves the right to require anyone to leave the centre if their behaviour is likely to jeopardise the safety or enjoyment of themselves or others in the centre.

  • All notices regarding the safe use of the equipment must be observed at all times.

  • The centre, outdoor playground and all surrounding car parks are strictly non-smoking.

  • Only food and drink that is purchased from The Jolly Junction is permitted to be consumed on site.

  • This is an alcohol-free environment. Any person found to be consuming alcohol or under the influence of alcohol will be asked to leave.

  • All accidents and injuries MUST be reported to a member of the team

Please be aware that CCTV operates around the centre.

IN CASE OF THE NEED TO EVACUATE:

Quickly and Calmly collect your children from the equipment and exit the building via the nearest exit.

Our staff are trained to give clear advice in the event of an evacuation and will ensure all children are safely out of the centre. The slides are considered the fastest way to exit the structure in an emergency, and our team will give directions to children which may include the use of the slides.

A member of the team will be in the carpark at the assembly point to liaise with any emergency services and check all persons have safely left the building.
